Duplex apartment with pool for rent near Barcelona

When I woke up today I felt sad thinking that I have to leave this duplex apartment with pool for rent near Barcelona that I will not be able to call home again.

I was lying in the double bed and did not want to move as I felt so comfortable. It was time to get ready so I got up and opened the curtains. What a view of Plaza Europa I had in front of my eyes!

I opened the large built-in wardrobe and the chest of drawers situated behind the bed to select my clothes for the day. Luckily, the complete bathroom is right next to the bedroom.

When I finished getting ready, I went downstairs in the main living area. The space is the heart of the property where the living room, the dining room and the kitchen are connected to each other. Whether it was to chill out on the sofa or to gather with friends, every moment felt special to me.

I am a fervent cook and the kitchen’s layout combines with the high-end household appliances make cooking a real relaxing time.

After preparing my breakfast, I headed to the balcony to savour it. The sun was shining and heating my face. The cool air helped regulating the temperature. I this moment I thought “What a best way to start the day!”.

Unfortunately, I had no time to go to the rooftop one last time. I would usually do some yoga or go for a swim in the communal swimming pool before going to work. But today is a manic day.

On my way out of the apartment I felt a bit tensed, especially when reaching the entrance hall. I remembered the first time I arrived there and how welcomed I felt as soon as I stepped into the entrance hall. Mixed feelings started rushing to my mind when I was locking the door for the last time. I had no time to be too sentimentimal as I had to go to Plaza España, which I had reached in less than 10 minutes by train. My partner headed to the airport by train for a 35-minutes journey. Usually she would take the bus and get there in 20 minutes, but she had plenty of time.

Living in this duplex apartment for rent in Hospitalet has been one of the best experience since I arrived in Barcelona and I will miss it for a long time.
